The completely renovated and modernized Budapest National Civil Service University or formerly known as Ludovika is located in the Orczy Garden in the district 8th.district. The open campus is a real gem of Pest and an upscale location for the event.

Beds are available at the University dormitory for €20/night+€1/night tourism VAT without breakfast.

Meal and Welcome party
Meal is available at the Ludovika Campus “menza” right beside the dormitory. The Welcome Party also will be at the same location but with smorgasbord serving style, with all you can drink beer + vine + soft drinks.

o Men’s ( 18 years old and above)
o Ladies’ ( 18 years old and above)
o Junior (15,16,17 years old at the time of the championship, No gender restriction, in case of 8 participants)
o Children (Older than 10 and younger than 14 years old at the time of the championship in case of 8 participants)
o 1.dan and under ( No gender restriction in case of 16 participants)”

Team competition:
o If you do not have a Team, then we are going to put you into one on spot!
o No gender restriction, 14 years old and above, teams composed of min 3 people max 7.

For HKF exam please DO NOT transfer the Examination fee, you can only pay cash for at the registration desk!
To apply you need to fill up the REGISTRATION form <> and ask your countries General Secretary or President to enter your name in the “EKF Members page” <> Exam system.

Please note that in our new regulation the examination starts with NIHON KENDO GATA!

The HKF dan exam & team competition fee must be paid by cash at the HKF registration desk.
Please transfer the exact fee and bare all bank charges, otherwise we going to ask you to pay the difference on location. All SEPA style bank transfer usually has 4,50€ extra charges!

Pandemic situation in Hungary:
Travel to Hungary is once again unrestricted!
The lifting of epidemiological entry restrictions means that, from Monday the 7th of March 2022, travellers can enter Hungary without the need for vaccination or immunity certificates, or any kind of test or quarantine obligation. Simultaneously, the lifting of the special rules of access for certain services and events means that vaccination certificates are no longer required for entry to indoor congresses or conferences, accommodation establishments, spas, sporting or cultural events, music and dance festivals, or outdoor events of any kind. The wearing of masks in public spaces is no longer mandatory, although some venues may still recommend their use.
